On April 19, 2025, BTS' Jin shared the stage with Coldplay during the group’s concert in Seoul, South Korea. During their performance, Coldplay’s lead vocalist, Chris Martin, hugged BTS' Jin on stage, showing love to the K-pop idol. The duo sang their collaborative track, My Universe. The Coldplay x BTS’ collaborative track My Universe was dropped on September 30, 2021.

BTS' Jin performed with Coldplay in Buenos Aires in 2022
This is not the first time BTS' Jin has performed with Coldplay. Previously, in October 2022, Kim Seokjin played his song The Astronaut during the British rock band's Music of the Spheres Tour in Argentina, Buenos Aires.
A few months back, on November 14, 2024, Coldplay paid tribute to Kim Seokjin after the release of his debut solo album HAPPY. The British rock band took to their social media sites to congratulate Jin on his album.
