Fans began recording themselves eating the dishes and sharing them on TikTok with BTS’ J-Hope's music. BTS' J-Hope visited Manam restaurant in Manila during his ongoing world tour, HOPE ON THE STAGE.
As stated by @thebtslookbook, BTS's J-Hope enjoyed his meal at Manam on April 12, 2025, on a livestream. Reportedly, Hobi had House Crispy Sisig, Sinigang na Baboy sa Sampaloc, Garlic Rice, Crispy Pata, Ube Sago, and Perrier Sparkling Water.
Hobi’s fans were impressed with his impact, which caused a surge in customers. Consequently, his online followers praised their BTS idol. One user on X stated:

BTS's J-Hope is presently carrying out his world tour ‘HOPE ON THE STAGE’
Jung Hoseok kickstarted his global tour HOPE ON THE STAGE on February 28 in Seoul, South Korea. Following this, the singer has already covered several locations from his tour cities, including Saitama, Los Angeles, Brooklyn, Manila, and more.
As of this writing, countries like Indonesia, Thailand, China, Taiwan, and North America (Mexico will be covered by BTS’s J-Hope as part of his global tour.

Earlier in 2025, the idol released two singles: Sweet Dreams (ft. Miguel) and MONA LISA. Both songs peaked at the top of the charts and were popular among K-pop fans. The former was released on March 7, while the latter came out on March 21.
On the other side, BTS members are expected to reunite after serving their individual military intervals. J-hope and Jin are currently the only members to have been discharged from the military. The remaining five idols, namely Jimin, Namjoon, Taehyung, SUGA, and Jungkook, are enrolled in the same training and are scheduled to be released in June 2025.
