BTS' Jimin recently appeared in the headlines after he became the best-selling K-pop soloist by pure sales in the United States for 2024. The BTS idol released his second solo album MUSE on July 19, 2024, whose success added to Jimin’s latest milestone. He released his second record after FACE, which came out in March 2023.
Fans of BTS' Jimin were glad to witness his latest accomplishment, therefore, his fans flooded the internet with their praises for the idol. One user on X commented:

Many other mixed reactions to Jimin’s latest achievement were seen online. While some referred to BTS' Jimin as the “king of vocals,” others called him a “history maker” and “record breaker.” Several others were proud of him.

Several fans congratulated Jimin, while others said he is the best. Another fan called him “kingmin.”

BTS' Jimin will be discharged from military enlistment in June 2025
Park Jimin enrolled in military enlistment in December 2023, alongside his bandmate Jeon Jungkook. The WHO vocalist is set to finish up with his military service in June this year.
During his term in military enlistment, BTS’ Jimin has been setting different records with his solo releases. Recently, Jimin garnered attention as he emerged as the longest-charting K-pop soloist on multiple prominent Billboard charts.
The K-pop idol celebrated his recent chart-topping success with his solo hit WHO and his second solo record MUSE, released in July 2024. BTS' Jimin achieved the top position of the Billboard HOT 100 for 29 weeks with his song WHO and dominated the Artist 100 chart for 37 weeks as a K-pop solo artist. Additionally, he dominated the Billboard 200 and Streaming Songs charts for 30 weeks each.
In addition to BTS' Jimin and Jungkook, the remaining members of the group, namely SUGA, V, and RM, will also complete their respective service terms by June.
So far only Kim Seokjin and J-Hope have finished their terms of military training. Both of them were released in 2024.
