BTS' Jungkook recently appeared on the news when he was reportedly inducted into Google's list of main pop boys alongside other globally renowned singers. The other musicians on the stated list included Ed Sheeran, Bruno Mars, The Weeknd, Justin Bieber, and Harry Styles.
Jeon Jungkook’s admirers were pleased with his latest recognition. As a result, his fans filled the internet with their love and appreciation for the 3D singer. One user on X stated:
“Wow, that's pretty incredible. Thank you Google! What an amazing group to be a part of.”
Several other mixed reactions to BTS' Jungkook’s newest achievement were seen online. While some said that the idol is the “giant pop star,” others referred to him as "King.”
“Not surprised at all. Outside Kpop world not driven by armin, JK has taken the world b surprise. With his first debut album.. He made people take Notice. Giant pop star is on the rise. And he just started.,” stated a fan.
“So cool! Sky is the limit. Go jungkook !!!,” commented an admirer.

BTS' Jungkook is currently serving his term in military term
Several BTS members are currently carrying out their mandatory military duties, including Jungkook. As of now, only Jin and J-Hope have finished their compulsory services. BTS’ Jungkook, Jimin, SUGA, Taehyung, and RM are enlisted in the military.
Jungkook joined his duty in December 2023 alongside Park Jimin, his bandmate. Therefore, the two singers are expected to be discharged in June 2025.
Recently, BTS' Jungkook became the K-pop soloist to sell the most pure albums in the US. Additionally, the Standing Next To You vocalist became the first and only Asian solo artist to reach 200 million streams on four different platforms, namely Spotify, YouTube, YouTube Music, and Melon, with his single SEVEN.
BTS' Jungkook released his song SEVEN in July 2023. This song was made in collaboration with American singer Latto.
Following this, he also dropped his solo record GOLDEN in November 2023, which was widely recognized by his fans across the globe. Earlier, in January 2025, BTS’ maknae’s GOLDEN album surpassed 3.2 million sales in Hanteo history and emerged as the first K-pop soloist album to do so.
