Travis Scott opens up about his relationship with Kanye West in a recent interview with Complex

The interview with Complex took place sometime back in February, and Travis Scott spoke a lot about his experiences while creating music. During the course of this conversation, he also spoke about his relationship with West, stating that the artist was the reason why he could truly experience the process of creating music.

"S–t, man. That’s my kid’s uncle. That guy took me in when I was young, when I was like 19. He taught me a lot about music. And not even just ‘taught’ me, but he allowed me to experience the creation of music."

Kanye West was formerly married to Kim Kardashian, while Travis Scott shared a relationship with Kylie Jenner, and the two even have a baby girl together, named Stormi.

Speaking of how Ye helped him grow as a musician, Scott reflected,

"To create music with him, it’s what helped me grow, making a lot of beats. Whether it’s writing and collabing on music and film or clothes or whatever the f–k it is, just constantly learning."

Kanye West and Travis Scott have butted heads various times in the past, with Ye accusing Scott of leaving him out of albums. However, Travis Scott extended the olive branch when he brought Ye out during his Rome performance during his Utopia tour and gave him flowers on stage.

Addressing the crowd, Scott said,

"There is no Utopia without Kanye West. There is no Travis Scott without Kanye West. There is no Rome without Kanye West. Make some noise for Ye."

Travis Scott is now all set to perform at Coachella on April 12, following which there might be some more news about the release of JACKBOYS 2 and new music from Sheck Wes.
