On April 19, 2025, @TheePopCore shared a clip of BTS' Jin’s solo track The Astronaut soundcheck from Coldplay’s Seoul concert venue. Most recently, Chris Martin gave a shoutout to BTS members during the group’s performance on My Universe, a collaborative track of Coldplay and BTS.

Just a day after their shoutout, BTS' Jin is seemingly set to make an appearance at Coldplay’s Seoul concert. Fans of Seokjin were thrilled with the latest news, therefore, they flooded the internet with their excitement for the K-pop idol’s joint performance.

One user on X commented:

“Austronaut the queen this is a circle coming back...last time we saw them together, Was in arjintina so excited fr this reunion"

Fans rejoice for BTS' Jin’s much-awaited collab with Coldplay at their concert in Seoul

Many other fans gave mixed responses to BTS' Jin’s anticipated performance at Coldplay’s concert. While some referred to Seokjin as a silver vocalist, others seemed excited to attend the show.

“Yes....my king silver vocalist,” a fan wrote.
“MY SILVER VOCALIST,” another fan commented.
“So happy for people attending tonight’s show!,” stated an admirer.

Some fans were reminded of BTS' Jin’s military enlistment with the song The Astronaut.

“I don’t think any of us are mentally ready for tonight’s show.,” commented another fan.
“SEOKJIN PLEASE PERFORM IT TO EASE OUR HEARTS,” wrote a fan.
“I'll give everything to hear the astronaut live once in my life,” stated a fan.
“This song. Here comes the water works. Astronaut always brings me back to Seokjin enlistment day,” commented a fan.

Kim Seokjin dropped his solo track The Astronaut on October 28, 2022. This song was his debut single track, which has over 124 million views on YouTube MV as of this writing.

This won’t be the first occasion of BTS’ Jin performing with Coldplay. Earlier, in October 2022, Kim Seokjin performed his song The Astronaut at the British rock band’s Music of the Spheres Tour in Buenos Aires.

Earlier on November 14, 2024, Coldplay gave shoutout to Kim Seokjin following the launch of his debut solo album HAPPY. The former took to their social media platforms to congratulate Jin for his album.

“We love HAPPY. Congrats + love to our brother Jin,” Coldplay stated.

Jin’s first independent album HAPPY came out on November 15, 2024. After this, the idol is currently gearing up for the debut of his second solo album ECHO, which will be dropped on May 16, 2025. Besides, the idol is also ready to kick off his first solo tour #RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR.

The #RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR will get started in South Korea on June 28 and conclude in Amsterdam on August 10, 2025. The tour comprises nine locations around the world, each with two shows.

In addition to BTS' Jin, another K-pop girl group, TWICE, is also reported to perform at Coldplay’s concert.
