Finneas and Kacey Musgraves teamed up for an acoustic duet of Giver / Taker. It was recorded live in Nashville. The collaboration surprised many fans and music lovers, which is evident from their reactions across social media platforms.
Rolling Stone reports that the performance was part of Finneas' Apple Music Nashville Sessions EP. It was released on Monday. The two artists are known for their individual musical genres and artistry. However, they seemingly found common ground in the relatively mellow track, which was originally featured on Kacey Musgraves' 2024 album Deeper Well.
The duet is part of a three-track bundle that Finneas recorded specifically for Apple Music, reports suggest. Titled Apple Music Nashville Sessions, the EP also includes new acoustic renditions of Starf*cker and Same Old Story, songs from Finneas' sophomore solo album For Cryin' Out Loud!. It was released in October 2024. Both tracks received notable attention from fans and enthusiasts.
