Rico Nasty announces new album 'Lethal': Release date, reported tracklist, and more explored

American rapper, singer, and songwriter Maria-Cecilia Simone Kelly, who is professionally known as Rico Nasty, is coming out with her new album "Lethal". The singer shares details about her upcoming album, including the supposed tracklist, release date, and more.

The album will be coming out on May 16th, while one of the songs on the album, "TEETHSUCKER (YEA3x)," was released on the 20th of February with a music video on YouTube.

She is known for her exploratory compositions and songs and artist collaborations with hits like "Money" with Flo Milli, "Tia Tamera" with Doja Cat, "STFU," "Smack a B*tch," OHFR?" and so on.

This album is a long-awaited return for the Maryland-born singer and would be a mix of the rap-rock genre. Rico came up with this genre-bending concept after spending years in the recording studio and experimenting with sounds inspired by punk and hyper-pop.

"Lethal" release and tracklist

As of now, "Lethal," which is Rico's third album, is set to release on the 16th of May, 2025. The artist recently signed to Fueled by Ramen, an American record label under Warner Music Group. The label released the info about the album as well as the tracklist.

According to a statement, she described the making of this album as a celebration of self-confidence.

This album is about being confident and saying f— everybody else. It’s about getting doors slammed in your face and people telling you to try it their way again and again, and you stay true to yourself and it works. That’s what this project is. It’s an ode to yourself.

This is her first full project since 2022, when “Las Ruinas” came out. When talking about her song "TEETHSUCKER," she stated

‘TEETHSUCKER (YEA3x)’ was both the first song I wrote for the album and the first song I ever wrote with Imad Royal, who executive produced ‘LETHAL. We all knew this song was special from the moment we turned it in. And what’s a better way to start the new era than by poppin’ out like a titty????

The album and music video for "TEETHSUCKER" are a testament that she is back with a bang and ready to create an impact.
