Lana Del Rey first teased Henry, come on in January 2024 via a short Instagram clip, where she sang,

"I mean Henry, come on / Do you think I'd really choose it?"

When the beloved singer officially announced her 10th album in November 2024, Lana Del Rey confirmed that Laird, Jack Antonoff, Zachary Dawes, and Drew Erickson had helped in the album. Rolling Stone reports that in an interview with Vogue, she mentioned:

"All my albums are somewhat rooted in Americana… so I don’t think it will be a heavy departure. If anything, it will just be a little lighter lyrically, and more pointed in a classic country, American, or Southern Gothic production — which again, so many of my songs already are."

Fans react to Lana Del Ray's latest single 'Henry, come on'

Netizens were quick to gather in the comment section of the YouTube post of 'Henry, come on' as they penned their reactions over the newly released track. Below are what some of them had to comment:

"OUR QUEEN IS BACK ON HER THRONEEEE", declared a fan.
"Once again, painting an entire movie. No other artist will ever come close to Lana's cinematic level.", opined another.
"This is magical, she disappeared for a while makes you hungry for her music she comes back and heals everything in you this is beyond describing I've been waiting for this song for so long and it turned out hundred times better, the experience of being a lana del rey person is a blessing", expressed a third.
"I love the fact that she's her from then to now. She doesn’t have eras or differents types of songs/albums, she doesn’t adapts herself to what’s being most heard to the point of losing herself. I just love the fact of not fearing to “lose” Lana Del Rey’s style", penned a fourth.
"What's so amazing about Lana is that, her music feels like lives in some void where the only inspiration she needs is her own music, that's why whenever u hear a new song of her's we are always comparing to her own discography and not some other artist. She's a genre of her own, a generational talent.", noted a fifth.
