BLACKPINK's Jennie, and Peggy Gou are teaming up for the remix of like Jennie.
The remix of the track comes out on April 11, and Jennie made the announcement just today, April 9. The remix, originally a part of Jennie's album Ruby, features Peggy Gou, a renowned South Korean DJ cum musician based in Berlin, Germany.
In her announcement, she took to Instagram Stories to share a photo of her phone on a call with Peggy Gou. In the next story, Jennie can be seen dancing to a clip of the forthcoming song. The caption read:
"Whoooooooowannarock with @peggygou_4.ll."
It seems the internet is bursting with pride and excitement, seeing as how droves are flocking to X to express their enthusiasm. Many are now referring to the pair as a "power duo," such as this one user who penned on X:
"Power duo dropping sonic fire."
Here's how others are reacting:
"TikTok already eating up her remix! Queen coming to dominate," one fan quipped.
"jennie is actually a mastermind for choosing Peggy Gou," someone else penned.
"An actually likeable remix, she ate," another chimed in.
"THIS IS SO SEXYYYY SHE NEEDS TO DO THIS AT COACHELLA," yet another echoed.
Scores online are excited about the forthcoming song:

While a large number of users seemed to be excited, a handful of them did express disappointment, noting that like Jennie wasn't the best track by Jennie.
Jennie and Peggy Gou get slammed for allegedly plagiarizing their forthcoming remix like Jennie
like Jennie has been coming under fire online, with some netizens calling the singer out for allegedly infringing on the tunes of an Indian music producer – Pritam's Rani intro-theme from the film Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.
At the time of writing, neither Jennie nor Peggy Gou has commented on the situation, though Pritam chimed in, urging fans to look past the similarities and enjoy like Jennie as is.
As for Peggy Gou, she is a DJ, singer, songwriter, and producer. She began her career back in 2014 as a DJ, though over the years, she released EPs and singles. By 2019, she launched her own record label, Gudu Records, and just last year, she released her solo debut album, I Hear You.
