The queen of Barbz, Nicki Minaj, is back, as she teases new music via Instagram Live.

On March 1, 2025, Nicki Minaj went live on Instagram and dropped a major surprise for her fans. The Starships singer first went on her stories and wrote:

"I have a surprise."

She later followed it up by playing a little snippet of her new material on Instagram Live. In the snippet, you can hear the rapper say:

"Plastic, instantly classic."

With what fans describe as Trinidadian beats, marking the return of Trinicki.

Nicki's Pink Friday 2 Album, the deluxe version of Pink Friday, which came out after 13 years, was a smashing chart-topping hit along with the Pink Friday 2 tour and with the reported news of an upcoming tour that may get announced this year along with a forthcoming album, the singer is definitely on a creative streak.

The new album is going to be a refreshing and innovative blend of the artist's personal style as well as her Trinidadian roots, and given her range of successful collaborations, fans can also expect some big names to be featured on this release.
