Lil Nas X has announced that new music is on the way.
The Old Town Road singer revealed on social media this week that a new single, titled HOTBOX, is slated to drop next month. The singer took to his social media platforms to reveal the news, though he dropped a snippet of the same back in June.
News of the same has since been going viral on X, drawing varied reactions, seeing as the songwriter has long been a contentious figure since his early days in the industry. Nonetheless, a large number of fans are also excited. Check out what one user had to say, for instance:

At the time of writing, the lyrics for Lil Nas X's HOTBOX are already up on Genius. The singer also uploaded a video of himself dancing to the new tune, shirtless and at home. While he did reveal that the track would come out next month, he failed to mention further details.
Just this past November, the artist teased fans with his latest track at the time, Need Dat Boy. He took to his Instagram to share the artwork and release date for the new single, and by November 22, the track had been released. Artwork of the same saw Lil Nas X shirtless and getting intimate in the backseat of a sedan with R&B singer Destin Conrad.
In the latest news, however, Lil Nas X has teamed up with LA and NY-based Crush Music, which boasts the likes of Green Day, Sia, Miley Cyrus, Lorde, Alanis Morissette, Weezer, Fall Out Boy and Panic! At The Disco.
The two-time Grammy winner is popular for hits like Montero (Call Me by Your Name), That’s What I Want, Panini, and Industry Baby, which was a collaboration with Jack Harlow.
