Kesha and T-Pain have once again joined forces for a new single. The pop star announced on March 24, 2025, that her new single, Yippee-Ki-Yay, will drop on March 27, 2025.

The track will feature T-Pain. It is her third single since parting ways with RCA and Kemosabe Records, Billboard reports. Her previous albums were Joyride and Delusional.

The track is part of her new era as an independent artist under her own label, Kesha Records. T-Pain's inclusion in the song might be a thing of nostalgia for some fans. The two artists arguably dominated the late 2000s and early 2010s with autotune hits.

Kesha took to her official Instagram handle to announce:

"YIPPEE-KI-YAY. FEAT. @TPAIN. THURSDAY."

Fans were quick to weigh in on the comment section of the post as they shared excitement over the upcoming collaboration between Kesha and T-Pain for a new single Yippee-Ki-Yay. Below are what some of them had to comment:

"Oh the 2000s are BACK", declared an X user.
"Kesha & T-Pain collab in 2025? This duo about to revive all our middle school playlists fr. Ready to stream this on repeat", penned another.

"Kesha and T-Pain are set to release their new collaboration, “Yippee-Ki-Yay,” on Thursday, March 27, 2025. This track follows Kesha’s recent singles “Joyride” and “Delusional” and marks a significant step in her career as an independent artist under her own label, Kesha Records. The collaboration with T-Pain adds to the anticipation surrounding her upcoming sixth album, which she describes as showcasing multiple facets of her personality, from vulnerable to empowered. Fans can look forward to the release of “Yippee-Ki-Yay” on March 27, as Kesha continues to embrace her artistic freedom and explore new creative avenues.", commented a fifth.

More on Kesha and T-Pain

Kesha launched Kesha Records in July 2024. The label operates in partnership with ADA, which handles global distribution, and Crush Music, which oversees marketing and promotion, Billboard reports.

This comes after legal battles with her former producer, Dr. Luke. Their legal disputes spanned nearly a decade and finally reached a settlement in 2023.

On the other hand, the rapper-singer T-Pain is best known for tracks like Buy U a Drank and Bartender. He and Kesha last collaborated on the remix of Girls in 2011.
