Justin Bieber accuses the paparazzi of being "money hungry": Here's what we know
Days ahead of his appearance at Coachella, Justin Bieber made headlines when he slammed the paparazzi in Palm Springs, dubbing them "money hungry." In videos circulating online, the singer, 31, can be seen showing up at a local coffee shop with some of his friends while a gathering of photographers are waiting for him.
“Good morning,” one pap greeted him. Bieber shot back, “No! Not good morning! You already know. Why are you here?”
He then approached them as he said:
“Money, money, money, money, money,” while mimicking the classic “pay me” hand gesture. “Get outta here, bro. Money, that’s all you want. You don’t care about human beings.” Visibly agitated, he carried on, “That’s all you care about, guys. Is money. You don’t care about people. Only money. … You don’t care about human beings.”
The photographers didn't respond, but they continued to film the pop star until he entered the store with his friends. Nonetheless, scores online have been expressing worry for the singer, with many even concurring with him in his sentiments.
Rumors are also swirling online about the status quo of Justin Bieber's marriage and his alleged substance abuse, though at the time of writing, none of these are substantiated. Speaking with TMZ, one of Bieber's reps said of the singer's alleged drug use, “Despite the obvious truth, people are committed to keeping negative, salacious, harmful narratives alive."
