Tory Lanez scheduled for a deposition in Megan Thee Stallion's case against his alleged co-conspirator
In other news, Tory Lanez is now scheduled for a deposition in connection with Megan Thee Stallion's case against media personality Milagro Cooper. The motion, which was unopposed by Lanez's lawyers, was signed off just this Monday.
The songstress has accused Cooper of trying to orchestrate a smear campaign against her in collusion with Lanez, and the latter will now be questioned about the nature of his relationship with Cooper.
Tory Lanez has been behind bars since August when he was sentenced to a decade for having shot at Megan Thee Stallion in 2020. He was found guilty in December 2022 of three felonies in connection with the shooting, which left the WAP rapper with an injured foot.
According to the Daily Mail, Cooper stands accused of backing Tory Lanez up throughout his trial, and she even accused her of acting as a "paid surrogate" who spread "vicious and hateful rumors" about her for him even as he lay behind bars.
Per the Daily Mail, Megan's lawyers will not be meeting with Tory Lanez in person behind bars, which means they are likely to hold the conference online.
