MGK makes surprise appearance at Coachella 2025 just a month after welcoming daughter with Megan Fox

Machine Gun Kelly, or in short, MGK, is the last artist you'd think would show up at Coachella 2025. Not only because he was recently banned by Coachella, but also because he and ex-fiancée, Megan Fox, just had their baby girl on March 27, 2025. However, the Invincible singer showed up with hip-hop group Three 6 Mafia and musician Travis Barker.

Reports claim that MGK's appearance at Coachella 2025 is likely his first-ever Coachella experience. In 2024, Colson Baker tweeted on X (formerly Twitter) that he had "never been" to Coachella. He also revealed to his followers via an X post that Coachella banned him "for whatever reason." The ban was placed on him in 2012.

Additionally, he also posted on X last year, mentioning that his daughter's basketball game is the reason why he cannot make it to the desert festival in 2024. This is what MGK had to say:

"i was looking forward to finally going this year but my daughters volleyball tournament ended up on the same days so yall will have to lmk how it is, she comes first ✌🏼," Baker referred to his eldest daughter, Casie Colson Baker, who he shares with WNBA basketball player, Emma Canon.

A possible reason why MGK was banned from Coachella

Last year, a few hours before Coachella started, MGK posted on X that he had never been to a Coachella festival in his life because of a ban imposed by Coachella on him more than ten years ago. In his tweet, he did not clarify the reason why he was banned.

He also made a brief post about his daughter Casie's basketball tournament, which is one of the reasons why he will not be attending Coachella 2024.

However, scrolling back to his previous tweets, 2012 to be exact. Internet sleuths may have found the reason why Baker was banned from the music festival. In 2012, he wrote:

"Coachella is a huge joke... Its corporate as f__ and they only accept the accepted but fake like they dont... Sad that music is so trendy now," MGK called out the music festival just a week after it happened.

However, the ban seems to have ended since Baker was on stage with Three 6 Mafia and Travis Barker during Coachella 2025.

As for Colson and Megan Fox's relationship, the two may have broken up in 2024, but they will be co-parenting their new baby girl. Page Six has been told that the two are "not living together" at the moment, but Megan Fox is allowing her baby daddy to

"stay with her so he can spend as much time with the baby as possible".
