Kanye West has dropped an unexpected bombshell, leaving social media users spinning out. While his tweets generally gain traction because of their incendiary nature, it’s usually an aggressive rant. In this case, however, Kanye turned inward and shared a shocking revelation with his followers.

In the tweet in question, Kanye shared a song called COUSINS alongside an explanation of the song’s deeper meaning and relevance. He revealed that in his youth, he watched pornography with his male cousin and re-enacted what they saw with each other. The cousin was then locked up and sent to jail for the murder of a pregnant woman, not long after this behaviour came to an end.

Kanye’s Shocking Admission Explored

West begins the tweet by providing some context for the Cousins track, which includes an accompanying video that features an array of disturbing imagery.

“This song is called COUSINS about my cousin that’s locked in jail for life for killing a pregnant lady a few years after I told him we wouldn’t “look at dirty magazines together” anymore”.

Then, in a poignant moment of self-reflection, Kanye seemingly attempts to take accountability for his role in the acts that transpired between the two.

“Perhaps in my self centered mess I felt it was my fault that I showed him those dirty magazines when he was 6 and then we acted out what we saw”.

West went on to bring his parents into the conversation:

“My dad had playboy magazines but the magazines I found in the top of my moms closet were different”.

This is the second time Kanye has spoken publicly about his deceased mother’s sexuality in recent weeks, indicating that it may be a point of contention for the Chicago-based rapper.

To end the tweet, West summed up the entire situation in the most direct and compromising way possible, before logging off the platform.

Bianca Censori Weighs In

Despite rumors of a potential split (fuelled by Kanye himself on his song BIANCA), former Yeezy Architect and West’s current wife, Bianca Censori, took to X to comment on her husband’s tweet that rocked the world.

"As someone so close to @kanyewest, seeing his recent post shattered something in me. I admire his courage to speak on such deep, painful truths, truths that might help parents watch their children more closely. But some wounds deserve healing in private,"

Censori continued:

"Not every scar needs to be exposed to the world. Yes, @kanyewest had a troubled childhood, & it hurts knowing he carried that pain for so long. But wish he kept this one to himself."

Bianca then clarified her comments on why West might have benefited from keeping the story private.

"Not for shame, but for protection. For himself & his family. Pain shared is powerful, but not every secret is for public consumption," the 30-year-old model wrote, adding that she's "still trying to process it all."

Bianca's above-mentioned tweets are no longer available on the platform. While the status of their relationship is currently unclear, what is evident is Censori’s empathy for Kanye.
