“It’s gonna be so cool”: Fans excited as BLACKPINK’s Lisa expresses her willingness to collaborate with Charli XCX 

BLACKPINK's Lisa expressed her excitment and willingness to work and collaborate with Charli XCX on a track.

Lisa, who just released her first solo album, Alter Ego, has been making waves for the past few months. Her new album, which was a massive success, garnering 1 billion streams before release, featured many A-listers, including Future, Raye, Doja Cat and so on.

In a recent interview that she did for Wall Street Journal Style, the White Lotus actress exclaimed, "Charli XCX" when asked which artist she most wants to team up with. In reference to the grammy winning singer Charli XCX and her album BRAT which took over in the summer of 2024, Lisa stated:

"I wanna be one of the Brats."

Calling her, a dream collaboration, the Thai singer then performed a snippet of the viral dance choreographed on Charli's song Apple from the same album. This all comes at a time when she is about to reunite with her BLACKPINK group members- Jennie, Rose and Jisoo, for their upcoming tour. The BLACKPINK main rapper really does have a lot going on with her booked and busy schedule.

Fan reaction to the possible collaboration.

Hearing this response from the New Woman singer led to a fan uproar on social media, with fans claiming:

"It’s gonna be so cool."

Of course, if Lisa's dream were to come to fruition, both artists would create an energy-packed, chart-topping track with a "song of the summer" vibe to it, blending Charli's experimental EDM beats with Lisa's rap flow and rhythm.

Lilies, her fandom, also expressed agreement with the fact that both these artists would work well together.

"Actually I think they suit each other,"- one user said.
