Gracie Abrams postpones U.K. tour dates due to her undisclosed illness. The singer made an announcement on Instagram on March 3 that she will not be able to perform at her scheduled concerts in Nottingham and Leeds, which were scheduled for March 3 and 4, respectively. She stated,

"I cannot perform these next two nights.”

This comes after a performance in Brussels on February 28 was canceled for the same reason.

Abrams conveyed her profound remorse for the choice in a touching, handwritten message posted on her Instagram story. She wrote,

“I hate that I have to write this again so soon. Unfortunately, I am really still struggling with this illness and have been advised that I cannot perform these next two nights.”

She added,

“I can’t tell you how much this breaks my heart. This tour is something I’ve been dreaming of since the album came out, and the shows we’ve played so far have meant more to me than I can tell you. The moment we have any concrete details about these two shows in your cities, we will be in touch. Please know I’d give anything to be able to be with you. Thank you for understanding. I’m sending all my love and my deepest regrets.”

When Abrams had to postpone her concert at Forest National in Brussels late last month, it became clear that she was having health issues. She informed supporters at the time that she had been "fighting off something gnarly" for a week and that, in spite of her best attempts to get better, doctors had urged her to take it easy.

Although she stressed in her message that she was physically unable to give the audience the performance they were entitled to, she understood the disappointment of those who had intended to attend the concert.

After a successful North American run in 2024, she is currently on the European portion of her tour, The Secret Of Us. Her second album of the same name debuted at No.2 on the Billboard 200 list and was well-praised for its contemplative composition and genuine emotional depth.

Abrams' next performances in London, Machester, Cardiff, Dublin, and Glasgow, which are slated for March 6-12, are still expected to go as planned in spite of the recent cancellations.

Gracie Abrams promised fans that details will be released as soon as possible, but she has not yet disclosed when the postponed Nottingham and Leeds performances will be rescheduled. It is advised that ticket holders keep an eye on their emails for more information.

Later this month, on March 29, Gracie Abrams will receive the 2025 Billboard Women in Music Awards Songwriter of the Year accolade in addition to her tour. Abrams and other female artists, including aespa, GloRilla, and Tyla, will perform at the event, which honors female musicians in the music business.
