EXO’s Kai, known offstage as Kim Jong-in, is set to drop his fourth mini-album Wait On Me on April 21, as confirmed via the group’s official social media. This marks his first musical project since completing his mandatory military enlistment. And to create buzz for the same, the singer released a teaser for Wait On Me's music video.

According to the concept teaser of the album, the concept appears to centre around dual versions of Kai, each reflecting subtle contrasts in both appearance and vibe. One presents a calm, composed demeanour, while the other carries a rougher, more intense edge with a slightly dishevelled look. The singer keeps creating buzz about his mini album as he also dropped a snippet of another song on the album, Flight to Paris.

As for the intriguing MV teaser, there is a myriad of scenes in succession that create a mystery and leave the viewer wanting more. The teaser has a dystopian post-apocalyptic vibe to it with sandy dunes and bunker-like locations. The outfits suggest a gorpcore futuristic aesthetic. In some clips, the EXO member looked bruised up, while in the last clip, he seems to be emerging from the sand.
