“I'm so excited can't wait”: Netizens react as BIGHIT Music announces BTS' Jimin’s ‘THE TRUTH UNFOLD’ exhibition for NYC

On April 25, 2025, BIGHIT Music unveiled the dates for BTS' Jimin’s ‘THE TRUTH UNFOLD’ exhibition for New York City. The exhibition is set to kickstart on May 31 and it will continue until June 29. The ticket sales will start on April 30, 2025, at 1 PM ET. The exhibition is set to be held at 30 Wall St, New York, NY 10005, USA.

As per BIGHIT’s post, further details on ticket reservations will be revealed shortly. Fans of BTS' Jimin became excited with the new announcement of his exhibition. As a result, his followers swamped social media with their enthusiasm for the WHO idol. One user on X said:

Fans gave mixed reactions to BTS' Jimin’s new exhibition announcement

Several other fans gave mixed reactions to BTS' Jimin’s upcoming NYC exhibition. While many were happy about it, others said the idol deserved it.

“İdk what happened but Please there are other countries than USA and some Asian countries,” wrote a fan.

“Woooow new York really deserve it! Lets gooo,” stated an admirer.

“Why don't we get one of these Exhibition in Europe? The truth untold and Golden were only in the US or in Asia.,” expressed another fan.

Many fans from outside Asia and the US expressed disappointment and asked why the exhibition was organized in other countries, especially those in Europe. Other fans praised BTS' Jimin’s voice and his music.

“Jimin, your voice connects with me on a profound level. My heart opens in a way l never knew was possible. Your music motivates me to be significant, to become sturdy, to open my heart fully, and to trust what l feel, even when l dont have all the answers. Thanks a bunch!,” wrote another fan.

“OMG i was wishing for Jimin exhibitions in New York as well Thank you for bringing it to NY,” commented a fan.

“Omg NYC to see Jimin’s crafts! another beautiful set up is coming. I so love the smeraldo concept, hopefully this will reach the SEA,” stated an admirer.

“What happened to bringing this to different counties this year!? I knew it was too good to be true, this is ridiculous now, Jimin and Jungkook and all members have fans all over the world that can have exhibitions, they haven’t just got fans in some parts of Asia and the US,” another fan expressed.

BTS' Jimin’s ‘THE TRUTH UNTOLD’ exhibition already took place in Korea, Japan, and China

In September 2024, BIGHIT released the notification for BTS' Jimin’s ‘THE UNTOLD TRUTH’ exhibition for South Korea, Japan, and China. The initial round for the idol’s exhibit started on October 11, 2024.

The management also provided more details about what to expect from the presentation. The exhibition is a deep dive into two of Jimin’s solo albums, namely FACE and MUSE. The former was dropped in March 2023, and the latter came out in July 2024. As the name suggests, the exhibition presented the untold stories and experiences Jimin had while making his two independent albums.

““FACE” captured Jimin’s sincere emotions as he asked himself questions whose answers resonated around the world. Following this, “MUSE” expressed his journey to find the inspiration surrounding him, which was presented as a fragrant serenade in Smeraldo Garden.”

The name for the exhibition was picked from Smeraldo, which was also the title for one of his album’s tracks. As stated by BIGHIT,

“Smeraldo means “The Untold Truth” in the language of flowers.”

Currently, Jimin is enlisted in the Korean military. He began his mandatory service in December 2023, which will finish in June this year.
