Canadian pop artist Tate McRae reveals that she would love to collaborate with SZA. In her recent interview with Pride, she expresses her admiration for SZA.

She's one of the coolest and best writers ever. I love her.

Tate McRae also stated that she loves artists who push boundaries and are not stuck on the same page. She admires SZA for how versatile she is and how she always tries to do something new.

SZA's Super Bowl performance with Kendrick Lamar has also won McRae's heart. She was amazed by how energetic the duo was.

There have been multiple instances in the past where Tate McRae praised SZA, be it on her Instagram live or uploading her covers on SZA's songs.

McRae stated that she would even let SZA take the charge. The song would be a mix of R&B and pop, and fans are here for it.

With her admiration and love for SZA's work, fans can only speculate how great the actual collaboration would be.

Talking about SZA, she has also been spotted supporting other female artists. Her appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show has proved it. She named one of her tracks after the artist, highlighting her appreciation for female figures in the industry.

I love the way you talk and the you-ness of you. It just reminds me of all the things about myself that make me nervous, but on you, shine so brightly. It gave me permission to be myself.

SZA's love and respect further strengthens the possibility of a collaboration with Tate McRae and that would be something worth waiting for.

At 21 years of age, McRae has quickly climbed the ladder of success. She first appeared on the American reality show So You Think You Can Dance in 2016. She was one of the finalists.

She transitioned to music with her most loved song One Day. It was originally recorded in her bedroom and the video quickly went viral. Today the original video is at 41 Million views on Youtube.

McRae says,

My writing was very much like my diary, and I just put it out there to put it out there because I didn’t really know what I was doing. The fact that people related to the songs made me feel less alone in a lot of situations.

She recently announced her album release event on Instagram.
