Cardi B Refutes Affair Allegations and Explains the Incident

In her first post, Cardi B denied claims that the altercation stemmed from a romantic dispute involving her then-husband, Offset. She explained that the issue had nothing to do with jealousy but was instead an unrelated confrontation outside a hotel.

"Another narrative that I let slide… If it was because of a girl messing with my ex then I would have bout 30 cases on me but that wasn’t the issue. I got into it wit them outside a hotel and I ain’t like the tone… now was it the right thing to do?? NO! But I did the crime and I did the time NOW that the case over I can speak my truth," Cardi B wrote.

The fight involved two female bartenders at Angels Strip Club in Queens who claimed that Cardi B and her entourage had attacked them. It resulted in an elongated legal battle that was settled in 2022 when Cardi B agreed to a plea deal.

Legal Resolution: Plea Deal and Community Service

In September 2022, Cardi B pleaded guilty to third-degree assault and second-degree reckless endangerment by admitting her participation in the fight. The plea deal sentenced her to 15 days of community service and issued a protective order for three years not to contact the victims, who were identified as Jade and Baddie Gi.

Cardi B said she was sorry following her sentencing and that it was important to be accountable for your actions.

"I've made some bad decisions in my past that I am not afraid to face and own up to," she stated at the time.

Cardi B Addresses Misinformation About the Incident

In her second post, Cardi B addressed allegations that she had orchestrated an attack with male affiliates. She categorically denied the accusation and asserted that only women were engaged in the fight.

"Enough wit the lies ….Where in my court papers does it says grown men touched any women? NOWHERE! ….Why would I send grown men when my bitches get active and they came out and said it themselves? My codefendants were WOMEN! Y’all got that narrative from somebody that wasn’t there!" she wrote.

This post seemed directed toward dispelling the confusion about who was involved in the fight and retaliating against what she termed a false narrative.
