How did XXXTentacion die?

According to an account by the BBC, the Bad Vibes Forever singer was shopping for a motorcycle at RIVA Motorsports. As he was ready to leave, he was attacked by four men—Michael Boatwright, Trayvon Newsome, Dedrick Williams, and Robert Allen. They robbed him and Boatwright fatally shot him.

The police rounded up the four men and placed them in custody. The officials charged them with first-degree murder and also armed robbery.

On August 12, 2022, Robert Allen pleaded guilty to robbery with a firearm and second-degree murder in a plea deal. In exchange for giving his testimony, he got a shorter sentence.

According to Daily News, the court found Boatwright, Newsome, and Williams guilty of first-degree murder and armed robbery. Later, on April 6, 2023, the judge sentenced Newsome and Williams to life in prison without a chance of release. Boatwright got two back-to-back life terms plus 30 more years. Then, on May 17, 2023, Robert Allen received a seven-year prison sentence and 20 years of probation. He was released on October 26, 2023.

As per the BBC, the late rapper faced major legal issues. He went on trial for charges related to domestic violence that came up in 2016. A big trouble began when he allegedly assaulted his pregnant girlfriend.

Kanye West and XXXTentacion collaboration

True Love is a song by Kanye West and XXXTentacion, according to the Fader. Probably one of the coolest love stories from the hip-hop world as these two big names fused on this project. They first made a song together called "One Minute" which appears on the late rapper's final album Skins. It came out not long after his untimely passing in 2018. That same year, Kanye West got a sneak preview of his new album Yandhi, which also featured vocals from Skins rapper.

A song called "The Storm" featuring XXXTentacion leaked online, but Kanye later changed it into "Everything We Need" for his 2019 album Jesus Is King, removing the late rapper's part.

The passing of XXXTentacion was a sad and terrible loss from the music world. He was someone big who inspired people. His fans and other musicians looked up to him.
