“His such a blink”: Fans react as BTS' j-hope recommends Lisa and Rosalia’s ‘New Woman’ for his Weverse playlist

South Korean social media platform Weverse recently shared BTS' j-hope’s playlist featuring several tracks from global icons like Rihanna and Kendrick Lamar. Among other artists, Hobi also added BLACKPINK's Lisa’s single New Woman to his Weverse playlist.

Lisa’s New Woman, which was made in collaboration with Spanish singer Rosalia, came out in August 2024. The song was part of her solo album, Alter Ego.

K-pop fans were thrilled to see j-hope recommending the song. As a result, fans flooded the internet with praise for the track and for Hobi. One user on X commented:

Several other fans had mixed reactions to this indirect interaction between the two K-pop idols:

“They are all fans of them, and have proven it countless times, they are certainly friends off the record, here we only see bitter people having stupid fights,” an X user commented.
