Lady Gaga's latest album, Mayhem, has debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart. It is her seventh chart-topping album and her biggest streaming debut ever, Billboard reports.
The album was released on March 7, 2025. It reportedly earned 219,000 equivalent album units in its first week, which is the biggest debut for a female artist this year so far. Mayhem follows previous No. 1 projects like Chromatica (2020), Joanne (2016), Born This Way (2011), and the A Star Is Born soundtrack (2018).
However, this time it is a bit different. Mayhem has set a new personal record for Lady Gaga as it pulled in 108.05 million on-demand streams in its debut week, the highest streaming numbers of her career, Billboard reports. Fans are celebrating the beloved singer's achievement online.

- 80,500 streaming equivalent album (SEA) units, translating to 108.05 million streams
- 2,500 track equivalent albums (TEA)
These numbers make Mayhem the biggest female album debut in over six months, surpassing Sabrina Carpenter's Short n’ Sweet, which debuted with 362,000 units in September 2024.
