Morgan Wallen made a return to Saturday Night Live (SNL) on March 29, 2025. He performed two new tracks from his upcoming album, I'm the Problem, Billboard reports.

The episode was hosted by Oscar-winning actress Mikey Madison. It was Morgan Wallen's second appearance as a musical guest since his 2020 'SNL' debut. The singer was dressed in a denim jacket and baseball cap. He kicked off the night with the album's title track.

He later returned to the stage to perform Just in Case. However, Morgan also made headlines for his abrupt exit from the show's final moments, reports suggest.

Fans were quick to gather in the comment section of the YouTube video as they penned their thoughts over the singer's new track, Just in Case. Below are what some of them had to remark:

"Gosh I love this song! He never misses!", opined a fan.
"Look at that PERFECTLY HIDDEN Power T on his guitar strap. Our people never shy about where they came from. Go Vols Baby", noted another.
"Some of y'all cry over everything. Morgan ain't reading the comments and does not give. He performed and then left, y'all are obsessed. His album ain't gonna flop and you keyboard warriors won’t say sh*t then", criticized a third.
"So much unjustified hate in these comments for Morgan Wallen, he’s a great artist. If you actually listen to his music and it’s not for you, that’s fine. But he is a great artist, trying to say otherwise is just dumb.", penned a fourth.

Others also chimed in:

"Wow, you guys are so busy ripping him apart for just going on performing and promoting his album and doing his job. The real problem is SNL. Like what the HELL!! That was insanely awful!! Is Comedy Dead? Those dumb kids don't know how to act, much less be comedians. That was literally the worst thing I have ever seen. If that is what this generation considers the best comedians Damn we are screwed. Come on, SNL, you used to be Great! What the hell happened? You can do better than that!" opined a netizen.
"I don't understand going on a show and treating them like gum on your shoe. Too good to stay until the end, and the cowardly way he gave the finger like a salute. His agent must have called in some favors to get his bratty butt back on SNL. He needs therapy. He had a great opportunity, and he squandered it. Shame.", stated another.

Morgan Wallen's abrupt exit from the latest 'SNL'

Reports suggest that during the usual SNL closing, when the cast and musical guest join the host on stage for goodbyes, the singer whispered something to Mikey Madison, hugged her, and then walked off before the credits rolled.

Minutes later, he posted a message on Instagram:

"Get me to God’s country."

I'm the Problem is set to release on May 16, 2025.
