The beloved bassist and co-founder of KISS, Gene Simmons, has postponed 17 dates on his upcoming solo tour.

The affected concerts were originally scheduled for April and part of May 2025. They will now be rescheduled for early 2026, NME reports. However, no official reason has been provided for the postponements. Gene Simmons' team has only assured fans that the decision is unrelated to his health.

Consequence reports that the news was shared by Christina Vitagliano, who manages Simmons’ VIP fan experiences, in a social media post. The post read:

"Quick update for GS band dates: The GS April dates and the Texas May dates are being postponed until early 2026. YES, the rest of the May dates are still happening!"

It continued:

"Yes, GS is ok; nothing wrong health-wise! If you bought tickets, you will get a refund from wherever you purchased the tickets. If you bought a bass experience, email me, and I will refund your experience unless you want to move to another date. Super simple!"

This announcement comes months after KISS completed their farewell tour in December 2023. It was the end of the band's run of live performances. However, Gene Simmons has continued to perform with his solo project, the Gene Simmons Band, which features an ensemble of multiple rock musicians.

Christina confirmed that all affected ticket holders would receive refunds or could transfer their VIP shows to other available dates. It should be noted that the nine concerts scheduled for May 2025 will still go ahead as planned.
