BTS' Suga has made headlines with his first public action in nearly seven months as he reportedly stepped forward with a donation for wildfire relief efforts in South Korea.
His contribution, alongside fellow BTS member J-Hope, has generated conversations among fans and netizens across social media platforms.
On March 27, 2025, BIGHIT MUSIC officially announced that both Suga and J-Hope donated 100 million KRW (approximately $68,200) each to aid those affected by the country's wildfires.
Reports suggest that J-Hope contributed to the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association and Suga directed his donation to the Korean Red Cross. Their financial aid aims to support victims of the fire.
As reported by Koreaboo, the official statement from BIGHIT MUSIC reads:
"We hope that the ongoing forest fires will be extinguished as soon as possible. We hope that those who have lost their homes and thus facing hardships, and those who are working hard to extinguish the fires will be able to return to a more peaceful daily life soon. We hope this donation can provide even a little bit of comfort and hope."
