Everything we know about Lil Uzi Vert's health condition

TMZ has reported that an eyewitness at the scene saw Lil Uzi Vert being wheeled out of the lobby of a luxury building at around 2:30 PM before he was loaded into the ambulance. His girlfriend, City Girls rapper JT, was also present.

The 29-year-old Just Wanna Rock rapper, whose real name is Symere Bysil Woods, was flanked by security guards at the time, who held up black umbrellas for privacy.

The Shade Room has reported that as of Tuesday, Lil Uzi Vert is still receiving treatment, though his cause of illness and exact symptoms still remain unclear. In the past, however, the rapper has been vocal about his health struggles. During a 2021 interview with Men's Health, he reflected on the correlation between physical and mental health:

“Working out definitely helps me with my performance and I think that people that’s probably, you know, stressed a lot and going through stuff, they should work out,” the rap star said. “I’m one of those people that be in my head, and it makes me go crazy … See how heavy I’m breathing, I’m getting all of my anxiety out and stuff.”

Lil Uzi Vert has also been vocal about his struggles with sobriety, such as when in March 2023, he told TMZ:

“It was challenging at first. But then, after probably a month, I got used to it.” He also added, “I thought that my creative process wasn’t going to be the same because I wasn’t on drugs no more.”

Just a week ago, the rapper took to Instagram to tease fans with new music, though details about the same remain sparse as well.
