Addison Rae has revealed that her first album is officially on the way during Arca's set at Coachella. The TikToker-turned-pop-star took to Instagram to share the news of her album, as she uploaded its cover image with the following caption:

"Self-titled debut album!!!! I love the entirety of this project with all of me. A mirror. A deep desperation and desire to understand myself better. A true collection of my proudest work yet. My dream cover. My dream collaborators. Pre-save now to prepare a sweet home for her."

As for what songs the album will feature, Rae has already dropped three of the album's tracks: Diet Pepsi, Aquamarine, and more recently, Headphones On. All three tracks have been massive hits online, with their music videos showing off the songstress' dancing prowess.

During a recent interview with Elle, Addison Rae reflected on her forthcoming debut album. “I feel like I’ve surpassed Addison Rae. It’s just Addison now," she declared. Reflecting on the subpar ratings her debut EP, AR, copped, she told the outlet:

“What’s funny to me is that people assume that these passions are new," she said. "First of all, no one ever even knew who I was before I was a freshman in college, so it’s like, ‘How would you even know what my interests were before?’”

She added:

"I acknowledge how lucky I am that I was on TikTok, and people cared enough to watch my videos and follow me, and therefore gave me the freedom to be able to explore my deep desires that I’ve always had. It’s like, ‘What am I going to do? Not chase my dreams because I feel like I haven’t done enough school to get here? Or I haven’t had enough experience?’ It’s like, ‘No, the door opened for me, and I’m going to go through and explore it.’”

At the time of writing, it remains unclear how many tracks will be on Addison Rae's debut album.
