Drake is reportedly joining Kick for weekly streams, and the internet is already hooked.
The 6ix9 God has been a regular on Adin Ross' streams as of late, and during his most recent one, he also revealed that he is already working on a solo project. At the time of writing, rumors are swirling that he is also planning on joining the streaming platform to engage with spectators on a more personal level, though this remains to be confirmed.
Nonetheless, fans are thrilled, with some even suggesting not doing it so as to maintain the "mystique." Here's how one fan reacted, for instance:
"Don’t recommend him doing that kills the mystique"
However, it's not all hate online. Here's how the rest of X is reacting:
"Turned this clown into a streamer. L," one naysayer penned.
"W Drake it’l help the platform so much," someone else chimed in.
"Guess that Kendrick beef hit him harder than we thought," another quipped.
"Fineeeee, I’ll download kick," one fan jokingly noted.
Here are some more comments:
"Drake about to carry Kick," one fan noted.
"Go off king," another encouraged.
"that's cute, but i'll stick to my high stakes games. much more clutch," someone else opined.
"From rapper to Streamer is a crazy downfall ngl. Bro keep falling over," another naysayer chimed in.
While scores online cheered the rapper on, a large number of them jokingly speculated that he might be having money problems. Others felt like he should stick to what he's good at and produce new music instead.
Drake teases new solo album, here's everything we know so far:
During his recent stream with Adin Ross, the God's Plan singer, who recently dropped $exy $ongs 4 U with PARTYNEXTDOOR, shared:
“Thank you to everybody that’s streaming the album. Every time, every journey. Working on a new album, it’s a slap.”
The Toronto rapper last dropped a solo album in 2023, titled For All The Dogs. His last album dropped just this past February and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. Elsewhere in the segment, Drake also noted that Nothing Was The Same and Honestly, Nevermind were the two projects he was most proud of.
The Canadian singer will soon be heading to London for the Wireless Festival in July, which he also gave a shoutout to during the livestream.
“Shout out to everybody that’s been showing us love, though, for real. On every song. Shout out to everybody that’s coming to Wireless [Festival]. We love you so much,” Drake said.
At the time of writing, not much else is known about the rapper's upcoming solo album, including when it will be released.
