Mariah Carey teases a remix of her song Don’t Forget About Us.

Singer-songwriter Mariah Carey just posted a snippet of her 2005 song Don’t Forget About Us. The post announces a new exciting remix of this iconic song. The clip came with a visualizer with the words "_________ remix," referring to an unknown artist that she will be collaborating on this remix with. The song will be out this Friday, April 11, celebrating two decades of the album.

The song is part of Mariah's illustrious album, The Emancipation of Mimi, which also featured hits like We Belong Together, Shake It Off, and collaborations like Snoop Dog, Nelly, Twista and so on, adding this new mystery name to that list.

There has also been a lot of speculation on who will be featured in the song. Some think it could be her rumoured beau, record producer and rapper Anderson .Paak, whom she was spotted going out for dinner few weeks back sporting her natural 90s curls, while others think it could be Ariana Grande as the duo collaborated last year when the Obsessed singer was featured on Grande's song Yes and?.

The singer, who is known especially well for her song All I Want for Christmas and is dubbed the unofficial queen of Christmas, recently won a lawsuit she faced on the aforementioned song. Mariah Carey was accused of allegedly copying elements of the holiday megahit from a country song by Vince Vance and the Valiants of the same name. U.S. District Judge Monica Almadani in Los Angeles stated that the original writers failed to show their song was objectively similar enough to Carey's.
