On Wednesday, April 23, American Music Awards 2025 unveiled it’s list of nominations featuring BTS' Jimin in the list of ‘Favorite K-pop artist’ along with other nominees like Stray Kids, BLACKPINK’s Rosé, and more.
The idol released his second studio album MUSE in 2024, which recorded chart-topping success and made it’s place into the AMAs 2025 nominations list. Fans of BTS' Jimin were pleased with the idol’s latest nomination. As a result, they flooded the internet with their love and support for the idol. One user on X commented:
“Jimin deserves to win this. Is it based on voting or what ?”

Several other followers congratulated BTS' Jimin, while others asserted that he deserves to win.

Some fans referred to the idol as legend emphasizing how Jimin reached his new milestone with an album which he barely promoted. For those unaware, BTS’ Jimin dropped his pre-recorded second solo album MUSE while serving his term in Korean military.

In addition to BTS' Jimin, his bandmate RM, aka Namjoon, has also been nominated under the similar category. RM also dropped his solo album in 2024, titled ‘Right Place, Wrong Person.’

Jimin’s second album MUSE came out on July 19, 2024. The album featured a total of six songs, including Rebirth (Intro), Interlude : Showtime, WHO, Smeraldo Garden Marching Band (ft. Loco), Slow Dance (ft. Sofia Carson), Be Mine, and Closer Than This.
As of this writing, Park Jimin is serving his obligatory military term in South Korea. He was enrolled with his fellow singer Jungkook in December 2023, and most likely they will be discharged at the same time from their respective services. They are anticipated to be released from military in June 2025, alongside Taehyung, Namjoon, and SUGA.
