Kendrick Lamar's latest album, GNX, hits a relatively significant record as it becomes the first rap album of 2025 to sell over 1 million units in the United States.
GNX was released on November 22, 2024. The project has topped multiple global charts. The album is also the rapper's first full-length release under his independent label PGLang after his exit from Top Dawg Entertainment and Aftermath, reports suggest.
The album has been featured with contributions from Jack Antonoff and Sounwave as executive producers and multiple artists such as SZA, Roddy Ricch, Kamasi Washington, and other rising talents.
