BLACKPINK's Jennie dropped the music video for her song, Seoul City, and fans are thrilled.

The songstress has been rather busy this year, seeing as she debuted her solo album, Ruby, this year and kicked off her first solo tour, The Ruby Experience. She also performed at Coachella and was awarded the Global Force Award at this year's Billboard Women in Music event.

Now, she has dropped the official music video of her single, Seoul City, and fans are thrilled. Scores online are rating the track a ten out of ten, such as this one user who penned on X:

"OMG! Definitely a 10/10"

The comments didn't end there:

"1000000/10 IT WAS A MASTERPIECE," one fan exclaimed.
"Seoul City was already my top pick from the album, and it still hits. The MV got its own vibe for sure, but not gonna lie, I was kinda hoping for a lil more," someone else opined.
"Jennie's new music video "Seoul City" is out now. It's part of her album "Ruby". Fans seem to like it. I'd give it 8 out of 10!" another exclaimed.
"meh…i expected something else," a fourth user chimed in.

Here's how the rest of X is reacting:

"Seoul city is my pick from this album still hits with a good vibe I'm loving this MV," one user chimed in.
"Song itself is good, MV is a bit blurry between scenes but it works with the "relaxed" vibe. I hope we will get more korean lyrics in their songs ! Jennie pulled out a quite a decent comeback," another opined.
"10/10 I’ve always thought the song had a nightcore Lofi beats vibe to it, it’s really captured what the listening experience feels like!!" yet another exclaimed.
"It's literally 10/10 the vibe is so there and it's soo beautiful loved it," one more asserted.

Scores online expressed love and appreciation for the track and its accompanying music video, though a handful of users felt like it could have been better.

Everything we know about Jennie's latest track Seoul City:

Jennie, 29, served as the composer and lyricist of Seoul City, which is a part of her debut solo album. It dropped alongside the album itself on March 7. As for the music video, which came out on April 26, scores online are trying to decipher its meaning, seeing how creative it is.

In it, the songstress can be seen dreaming of Seoul as she travels across the world, and its lyrics speak of her love for the city and how she dedicated the track to it since her heart belongs to it.

Notably, fans earlier speculated that the track is inspired by BTS' V, seeing as how certain parts of the song indicate the same:

"Give me a hug, I need your love, touch my thigh / Tell me what puts you in that mind / Frame it up, draw me in, do me right / Don’t you dare leave my sight," she sings, leaving many confused. "Only listen to my general, oh-oh / He says my attitude is out of control / Tell me what to do, Mr. General."

Jennie and V have long been rumored to be a pair. In May 2022, photos of the two hanging out emerged, and while the latter briefly followed the songstress, he quickly unfollowed her.
