Dave Grohl gave festival-goers a Coachella performance they won’t forget, teaming up with the Los Angeles Philharmonic for a symphonic twist on two iconic Foo Fighters tracks, Everlong and The Sky Is a Neighborhood. This surprising collab had fans buzzing as it perfectly blended Grohl’s rock energy with the grandeur of orchestral music.
Taking the stage during Weekend Two, Grohl took to the stage alongside LA Phil conductor Gustavo Dudamel, who has been pushing the boundaries of classical music for years.
A mesmerizing blend of strings, brass, and Grohl’s signature vocals was the outcome, especially on Everlong, a song known for its raw emotion. Grohl even admitted in past interviews that this song still gets him choked up on stage, making this orchestral rendition even more poignant.
What made this performance even more special was the diversity of artists who joined the festivities — Cynthia Erivo, Laufey, Ca7riel & Paco Amoroso, and Natasha Bedingfield — giving this classical rock crossover an added layer of excitement.

Dave Grohl’s confession: Fans disappointed at the rock star’s unfaithfulness
Grohl’s Coachella set comes just months after a deeply personal announcement.
On September 10, 2024, the Foo Fighters frontman posted a candid message on social media, revealing that he had fathered a child outside of his marriage with Jordyn Blum.
“I’ve recently become a father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage. I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her.”
The Learn To Fly hitmaker also acknowledges the impact of his actions on his family, saying:
"I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness. We're grateful for your consideration toward all the children involved, as we move forward together."
Grohl didn’t reveal further details about the child, as well as the newborn’s name.
