Christopher Maurice Brown aka Chris Brown, the American rapper and singer-songwriter is probably thrilled as his 2024 hit song Hmm featuring Davido wins the Outstanding International Song title at the 2025 NAACP Image Awards. The 56th NAACP Image Awards is currently the talk of the town as people are extremely excited about it.
The NAACP Image Awards is not just another American award show but it is a special one. These awards are specifically meant for artists of color. Major Win for Chris Brown, Bags Two NAACP Image Awards
The 35-year-old rapper nicknamed "King of R&B" adds two more prestigious awards to his collection. Brown is known for his smooth voice and killer dance moves. Besides his professional life, he is also widely known for his personal life, which included dating Rihanna in the past. Things got a little messy for Brown when he was arrested for physically abusing and threatening his then-romantic partner, Rihanna.

However, during an interview with Oprah Winfrey, Rihanna admitted that she had forgiven Chris Brown, even though she was angry and upset with him. She also went ahead and said that Brown was the love of her life. However, things and situations are no longer the same.
As a notable music artist, he keeps on releasing hit tracks from time to time. Not to mention, he has won numerous awards including Grammy Awards, MTV Music Video Awards, People's Choice Awards, and many more. According to reports, Chris Brown has won a total of 206 awards.
Davido, a Nigerian-American singer, who equally contributed to the award-winning song Hmm, is also an established musician, songwriter, and record producer. He collaborated with Chris Brown on several songs including Sensational, Blow My Mind, Shopping Spree, Lower Body, and others. As per certain reports, besides their professional collaboration, they are also good friends. Davido is also known for his pop song Fall, which is the longest-charting Nigerian song.
