Coachella’s second weekend saw a series of amazing moments, out of which stood out a surprising yet exciting collaboration between pop trailblazer Charli XCX and artist 2hollis. The British singer was in attendance at 2hollis’ set, which she later reposted via Instagram. She posted a picture of the artist and wrote “coming soon.” This prompted fans to speculate about the possibility of a collaboration or endorsement.

"shes like a talent hunter lol," an X user reacted on Charli's suprising appearance at 2hollis’ set.
"Charli pulling up like that says more than any press run ever could," another user wrote.
"Charli XCX supporting 2hollis at Coachella? Love to see it!" another reacted.

2hollis, known for his energetic style and genre-blending beats, delivered a high-octane performance that drew attention beyond his usual following. Charli’s appearance at his set not only signaled industry respect but also highlighted his growing influence among mainstream artists. Although no official announcement has been made, her cryptic post suggests potential creative synergy between the two musicians.

Charli XCX's performance at Coachella 2025

At Coachella, Charli XCX took to the stage for her headlining set, which drew in a large audience. She performed a mix of new material from her latest release, BRAT, which included hit songs like “365”, “Von Dutch,” and “Club Classics." Also included in the set were some of Charli’s earlier songs, which are very popular with fans, providing festival goers with a diverse experience.

Despite the buzz, some critics noted that the visual and performance elements felt slightly repetitive by the end of her set. While previous appearances featured guest performers like Billie Eilish and Lorde, this weekend saw fewer cameos, leaving the focus squarely on Charli. Addison Rae joined briefly, but the moment didn’t carry the same momentum as past collaborations.

Still, the energy of Charli’s production and her signature electro-pop sound were notable points. At moments like the live performance of “Party 4 u,” she proved to be very much in touch with her audience.

Green Day playfully backs Charli XCX with Coachella shoutout

Green Day gave Charli XCX a cool shoutout at Coachella. During their set, drummer Tré Cool sported a sash reading "Actual Headliner," which winked at Charli's viral "Miss Should Be Headliner" sash from Weekend 1. Charli spotted it and posted it on X (Twitter), saying she was "obsessed" with the callback.

Green Day's frontman, Billie Joe Armstrong, donned a hat with "Brat" written on it, which happens to be the title of Charli's upcoming album.

Together, 2hollis’ breakout set and Charli XCX’s seasoned performance added distinct flavors to Coachella’s second weekend.
