Mexican singer and songwriter Marco Antonio Solis performed Kendrick Lamar’s Not Like Us during his concert in Argentina on February 23, 2025. According to Complex, he wore a teal suit and cowboy hat and started with Los Bukis’ mariachi song El Celoso alongside a group of vaquera dancers.

Kendrick Lamar’s Not Like Us retains Billboard’s top position
Kendrick Lamar’s Not Like Us remains at the top of the Billboard Global 200 chart for another week. However, Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars's Die With a Smile continues its reign on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart for a 10th week.
Not Like Us had previously jumped from the 15th position to the first boosted by Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl LIX halftime performance. Meanwhile, the song had 111.7 million streams and 21,000 sales worldwide from February 14 to 20, 2025.
Kendrick Lamar has three other songs in the Global 200’s top 10. They include Luther with SZA which reached a new high at the third position, All the Stars from 2018, also with SZA, climbed to the sixth position, and TV Off featuring Lefty Gunplay moved up to the seventh position after peaking at fifth. All four tracks were featured in his Super Bowl performance.
In a 2024 interview with the Los Angeles Times, Lamar referred to Not Like Us as a representative of a person with strong values and integrity, who stands by their beliefs without pleasing others.
He emphasized that this person acknowledges their mistakes and is willing to share their experiences, even when facing fear or challenges, without feeling diminished.
He also explained that music was not his ultimate goal. His experiences with young people and helping them connect with his stories fulfilled him. Lamar values meaningful conversations with others, seeing music as a tool to make that happen.
