Elton John returned to the Saturday Night Live stage after over a decade with Brandi Carlile. They performed songs from their new joint album, Who Believes in Angels?
The duo performed two tracks live: Little Richard's Bible and the title track. The performance was featured on the April 5 episode of SNL with Jack Black as host. Elton John wrapped up his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour last year. He has since been mainly off the stage, reports suggest.
On the other hand, Brandi Carlile is currently gearing up for her Mothership Weekend festival. Take a look at Little Richard's Bible performance clip below:

"Almost 40 years to the day when Elton gave the best live performance on SNL in the 80s - his tribute to John Lennon. On fire then and now. And amazing that Elton played this basically blind!", penned another.
"What a ball they were having!!! I don't think they could have possibly have had more fun! Love the backing vocals Sista Strings is that you?!", noted a third.
"Great to see Elton and Brandi Carlile performing together...and I see Chad Smith too!!! What a treat! Sorry, I don't know everyone's name but it was a great collaboration. Thank you.", stated a fifth.
Others also chimed in:
"This is, without a doubt, an absolute Elton John time warp. Just watched a 78 year old artist turn into a hotshot pianist in his 20s.", commented a netizen.
"Little Richard would've LOVED this performance. Sir Elton didn't miss a beat and slayed that piano solo. Had those keys on fire. I am overjoyed to see his health has improved. Brandi rocked!! I love this collaboration! Gotta give mad props to the band, starting with Chad Smith. You all brought the house down.", opined another.
Who Believes in Angels? was officially released on April 4, 2025. It is the duo's first full-length album together.
