On April 25, 2025, BTS's RM was spotted attending Coldplay’s concert in Seoul. After the concert, the BTS idol shared an Instagram story posing with Coldplay’s lead singer Chris Martin and PSY backstage.
Currently, RM, aka Namjoon, is enlisted in compulsory Korean military service. Not getting to see much of him lately, fans were delighted to catch a glimpse of BTS's RM enjoying the concert all of a sudden. Adding to fans’ excitement was RM’s Instagram status featuring PSY and Chris Martin, which soon went viral on social media. One user on X commented:

Kim Seokjin and Chris Martin captivated the audience during Coldplay's Seoul concert with their joint rendition of My Universe, which subsequently became a viral sensation on social media. My Universe is the BTS and Coldplay's collaborative track, which came out in September 2021.

At present, Namjoon is performing his military duties in South Korea. He was enlisted in December 2023, and he is likely to be released in June this year. The remaining members of BTS, namely Taehyung, SUGA, Jimin, and Jungkook, are also enrolled in the military. They will be discharged by June this year as well.
