Blue Jeans by Lana Del Rey reaches 500 million streams on Spotify

Benson Boone just recently entered the Spotify billions club with his 2024 song Beautiful Things, as it reached 2 billion streams. However, it seems the American singer-songwriter, Elizabeth Woolridge Grant, commonly known as Lana Del Rey, is halfway there, as her immensely popular song Blue Jeans reached 500 million streams on Spotify.

Lana Del Rey gained attention and rose to prominence in 2011 with her first single, Video Games. Following that, she signed a contract with Polydor Records and Interscope Records. Blue Jeans, which was Rey's third single, was released on April 6, 2012. The song was an instant hit, eventually turning into a global success. Interestingly, Blue Jeans is Rey's 15th song to reach 500 million streams on Spotify.

Some of the other super-popular songs that reached 500 million streams on Spotify within a very short period are Seven by Jungkook featuring Latto (reached within 43 days), Die With A Smile by Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga (reached within 49 days), and Flowers by Miley Cyrus (reached within 37 days).
