Grammy-winning artist Lizzo debuted her new song 'Still Bad' at her Los Angeles concert on March 13, 2025. She has also dropped the official music video of the track.

The track has fans buzzing both at the show and online. This performance was part of Lizzo's Lizzo In Real Life concert series, where she is introducing new music ahead of her upcoming album Love in Real Life.

The show was Lizzo's first full-length concert since 2022. She also acknowledged the emotional toll of the hiatus. Lizzo told the audience she had been in a "dark depression" and had considered stepping away from music.

Pop Crave took to its official X (formerly Twitter) handle to share:

"Lizzo debuts new song “Still Bad” at ‘Lizzo In Real Life’ concert in Los Angeles."

Fans did not miss leaving their reactions over the concert clip of Lizzo, where she is singing 'Still Bad.' Below are what some of them had to remark:

"Lizzo back with the bops!", expressed a fan.
"Ngl I wasn’t her fan But this masterpiece just made me one", penned another.
""Still Bad"?? Nah, she's still ICONIC.", hyped a third.

X users also chimed in the comment section of Pop Crave's post where the official MV of Lizzo's 'Still Bad' was shared. While some praised the artist for the latest single, some criticized:

"Always have loved Lizzo! She's a great musician!", lauded a netizen.
"Yes your music is still bad. Please retire.", penned another.
"I’m sorry this is just the same music she’s been making for years she’s like the equivalent of ice spice", stated a third.
"I remember when music was about love ... now y'all sing how "bad" you are and how you dont need him", noted a fourth.
"Unfortunately this is painfully boring :(", a fifth added.

'Still Bad' is Lizzo's second single in recent weeks

It follows 'Love in Real Life', which is the title track of her upcoming album. It is produced by Blake Slatkin and Ricky Reed, the team behind her hit track About Damn Time.

Fans believe 'Still Bad' is an anthem of survival. Lizzo sings about heartbreak,

"I don't need him, I need a drink"

and

"I'm still surviving, and I'm still bad, baby."

The track was initially written as a country song. Rolling Stone reports that she revealed in a recent Apple Music 1 interview:

"Recording ‘Still Bad’ was interesting because it started off as a country song and it was like, ‘I don’t need him, I need a drink.' You know what I mean? I think this song is so interesting because like it was just, the sentiment was more important than the sound. The lyrics had to come from that, ‘I lost my dog, I need some whiskey,’ kind of like deep sadness or country kind of rhetoric."

After the Los Angeles show, Lizzo is set to perform in New York on March 16, 2025, and Minneapolis on March 18, 2025.
