According to Last.fm, the band was formed in 2005. It includes five members in its group - Chris Motionless (vocals), Ricky Olson (guitar), Ryan Sitkowski (guitar), Vinny Mauro (drums), and Justin Morrow (bass).
The band took to their official Instagram account on April 22, 2025, to announce the news. Sharing an artwork designed by Dan Virchow, it lists the dates and venues of their forthcoming tour. It added in its post that the tickets will go on sale on April 25th, 2025, at 10 AM local time.
“Let’s run it back, but even bigger this time! Last tour was so amazing that we just can’t wait to come back and do it again as soon as possible. New year, new production, and of course we’ll be playing new songs! More dates and our fantastic lineup of support bands will be announced in June!”

As per a 2024 report in Blabbermouth, they are working on their new album, which will be arriving this year. Speaking about its progress, the band’s frontman Chris “Motionless” Cerulli told the outlet:
“Doing an album in three months just is not realistic anymore, at least not for us. And that's what we were used to back in the day. But that's not our reality anymore. We're taking our time with it. We're doing tours in between. And honestly, when it's done, it's done.”
He added:
“I have no date that I'm announcing. It will be next year, that's for sure. But I'm not even thinking about a date. I'm just writing the coolest songs that we could write. And we're really excited about what we have.”
Motionless In White released its last album, titled Scoring The End Of The World, in 2022. It scored their third No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Hard Rock Albums chart, as per a 2022 report in Billboard.
The 2022 album was followed by its deluxe edition in 2023. Their previous albums include Reincarnate (2014), Graveyard Shift (2017), and Disguise (2019).
