Modest Mouse announce new Psychic Salamander Festival: Complete schedule, lineup, and more explored

Modest Mouse is all set to launch their own music festival, the Psychic Salamander Festival. The fest is officially scheduled to be held at Remlinger Farms in Carnation, Washington, over two days, September 13 – 14, 2025.

The festival will see Modest Mouse headlining both nights. The lineup will also feature multiple acts across the indie rock and alternative music genres. This inaugural festival announcement follows the band's upcoming cruise festival announcement, Ice Cream Floats, which is set to start in early 2026.

Modest Mouse took to its official Instagram account to share the news. The post read:

What is the Psychic Salamander Festival?

The Psychic Salamander Festival is a brand-new music event curated and headlined by Modest Mouse. It is set to take place at Remlinger Farms, which is a family-run working farm and concert venue about 30 miles east of Seattle.

The attendees will be able to enjoy live performances, farm-based amusement park experience, and more. The festival will be the final stop in Modest Mouse's and The Flaming Lips' co-headlining tour, which kicks off in August 2025, and will hit multiple cities across the U.S. through early September 2025.

Both days of the festival will be anchored by performances from Modest Mouse and The Flaming Lips. According to reports, The Flaming Lips will be performing their 1999 album The Soft Bulletin in full on Sunday, September 14, 2025.
