Miley Cyrus debuts on Billboard chart with two new hits this week

Miley Cyrus is making a mark on the Billboard charts with two of her newest songs from her upcoming album. Cyrus's ninth studio album, titled Something Beautiful, will be released next month on May 30, 2025. The track list is yet to be released by the "Used To Be Young" singer. However, a Prelude, as well as two tracks, have been released so far. These two songs are "Something Beautiful" and "End of the World."

The two songs from her new album were released two weeks ago (at the time of writing). Both tracks are accompanied by official music videos on YouTube. Miley Cyrus's Something Beautiful is considered to be a visual album, and the majority of the songs focus on the idea and concept of "healing".

After two weeks of release, "Something Beautiful" has landed on Billboard’s Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart this week. It stood at no. 47. As for "End of the World," it sits at no. 52 on Billboard's Hot 100.

Miley Cyrus fans have proven themselves again by putting two of her latest tracks on different Billboard charts. Cyrus is entering her rock era again with "Something Beautiful," standing at No. 47 on Billboard’s Hot Rock & Alternative Songs. The ranking is chosen based on the number of sales, streams, and radio airplay. This helps determine which songs are doing the best in this genre in the US.

In a way, "Something Beautiful" helped Miley come back to the Hot Rock & Alternative Songs ranking after a long break. The last time a Miley Cyrus song was seen on this list was in July 2021, which was almost four years ago. The song that made it to the list was her cover of "Nothing Else Matters" by Metallica.

The "End of the World" is seen on seven different charts on Billboard. The most modest ranking on all the charts is No. 52 on the Hot 100 list. However, the lead single is doing exceptionally well on other specific charts, ranking higher on the pop radio list, as well as the Digital Song Sales.
