Metallica 2025 'M72' North American tour: How to get tickets, dates, venues, and more explored

Metallica is officially set to get back on the road in North America.

The band's 2025 M72 World Tour is set to kick off in North America on April 19, 2025. It will feature the beloved 'No Repeat Weekend' format in stadiums across the U.S. and Canada. According to reports, this leg of the tour will see a rotating lineup of support acts and some special surprises for fans.

Metallica was formed in 1981. It arguably has been one of the most influential acts in the global heavy metal scene for over four decades. Some of their beloved projects are Kill 'Em All andThe Black Album. The band consists of James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett, and Robert Trujillo.

The M72 tour is designed to accompany their latest album, 72 Seasons.

The band announced the tour on its official Instagram page, captioning:

"Check out @rhyscooperart‘s exclusive Pop-Up Shop poster for Syracuse! The only place to get your hands on this is the #M72Syracuse Pop-Up Shop, where a limited number of prints will be available daily. If you’ve got your eye on one, make sure you show up early! In another Instagram post, the band mentioned:

"We are one week away from our first #M72Toronto No Repeat Weekend gig at Rogers Centre! Check out the #MetallicaTakeover activities happening in Toronto next week."

On select dates, Pantera and Suicidal Tendencies will join the tour lineup, while other nights will see Limp Bizkit and Ice Nine Kills taking the stage.

Tickets for all shows are now on sale through Ticketmaster. Resale and last-minute options are available on StubHub, Vivid Seats, and SeatGeek.

Metallica is also offering Enhanced Experiences. These are special ticket packages that include early venue entry, Snake Pit access, backstage tours, and more. The I Disappear pass allows access to all six Australia/New Zealand dates later in the year.
