Megan Thee Stallion teases new single ‘Whenever’ dropping this Friday

The Hot Girl Summer singer Megan Thee Stallion recently announced that her upcoming single, Whenever, will be released on Friday. She took to her Instagram handle to announce the release. She captioned the post:

WHENEVER. FRIDAY. 🐟👀

She also shared the teaser and the bold and dramatic cover art of the song, which has left her fans and over 32 million followers thrilled and overjoyed. The cover art also includes the phrase, “It’s whatever b**h, it’s whenever h*e!”

The two-time Grammy Award winner. Megan Thee Stallion took to her Instagram to announce the release date of her upcoming single, Whenever. The song will be released on Friday, April 25, 2025. This single will be a part of the new album, Megan: Act III.

She also shared a teaser of the song, along with a cover image featuring Megan giving three dramatic poses in a two-piece set, hat, jewelry, and heels, a red car, and two people with fish heads. There are also beach waves and a chessboard in the image.

Megan also gave the option of pre-saving the song on Spotify, YouTube Music, Amazon Music, Tidal, and Deezer, and a pre-add option for Apple Music.

There aren't many details of the song out yet. However, Megan had earlier expressed her interest in working with artists whom she likes, which includes the Anxiety singer Doechii.

Megan Thee Stallion performed at this year's Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, and her performances were loved and well-received. Her setlist was brilliant and included the debut of several of her new songs, other than her classic hits including Thot Sh*t and Ungrateful.

Her set also included special guest appearances by Victoria Monét, Queen Latifah, and Ciara. Megan and Latifah performed on U.N.I.T.Y. She also performed on some of the fan-favorite songs, including Savage and Girls in the Hood.

She performed on Spin with Victoria Monét and Courtney LaPlante of Spiritbox on TYG. Megan also performed on the second weekend at Coachella on her hits like HISS and Cobra without any special guest appearances. Her performances during both weekends were loved for their energy, her stage presence, and memorable moments.

With her upcoming song, fans and followers are eagerly anticipating another chart-topping hit. Some of Megan Thee Stallion's songs that have already hit the charts include her 2019 single Cash Sh*t featuring DaBaby, 2020s Savage Remix, her 2020 debut studio album Good News, and her 2023 compilation album Something for Thee Hotties, among others.
