After releasing her album mere hours ago, Lady Gaga has made history by having it be the biggest album debut by a female artist on Global Spotify.
Her album, which had several poignant tracks, including Blade of Grass, Garden of Eden, and her previous single, Die With A Smile, with Bruno Mars, garnered an incredible 45.3 million listens in a single day.
This is the reason fans have dubbed her a "legend", with many taking to their social media platforms to rave about their "queen of pop".
One fan commented: "Legends stay legends, Gaga slays as always"

Another wrote: "17 YEARS INTO HER CAREER. QUEEN OF POP"

A fan said in awe: "oh gaga you will always be iconic"

One fan showed excitement for Gaga's future in the music industry, writing:
"Lady Gaga proving once again why she’s a global icon! ‘MAYHEM’ is already making history can’t wait to see how far it goes!"

Techno-pop, industrial rock, funk, and electronic dance all unite in Mayhem to create a soundscape that contains songs that pay homage to legendary 1980s performers.
The musical output features well-known Gaga sounds that re-examine the pinnacle of her earlier work while pursuing new directions to show how her artistic development is still ongoing.
In an official press release, Gaga characterizes the record as a voyage through her anxieties and self-discovery, according to Billboard Philippines.
She says that Mayhem "started as me facing my fear of returning to the pop music my earliest fans loved."

While the fragments may not be entirely repaired, she compares the process of creating the album to:
"...reassembling a shattered mirror: Even if you can’t put the pieces back together perfectly, you can create something beautiful and whole in its own new way."
The album, which consists of 14 tracks, saw Gaga, a 14-time Grammy and one-time Oscar winner, return to her dark pop music origins.
"I reclaimed myself as an artist," she stated.
Her most recent endeavor comes after last year's "Harlequin," a jazz-influenced soundtrack to the movie "Joker: Folie Deux," which peaked at No. 20 on the Billboard 200.
However, this new record has been received more than well by fans and critics alike. One of the track, Die With A Smile which features a collaboration with another pop and R&B icon, Bruno Mars, even spent about 5 weeks in the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Top 100 chart.
It also won a Grammy in the Best Pop Duo/Group Performaces category, at the ceremony early last month.

The icon's future plans include headlining Coachella and playing a free show at Rio de Janeiro's Copacabana beach in May. She has also teased Australian tour dates, where she would be anticipated to perform for the first time in 11 years.
The addition of the recently released songs to her set list is eagerly anticipated by fans worldwide.
